Tiddly Inks Challenge #223 - Succulent Hues Colour Challenge

Hello friends! It's time for the Tiddly Inks March Challenge! I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the Design Team, and my teammates and I have created some super fun projects to get you inspired for the challenge.

Here is the project I created for the Succulent Hues Colour challenge:

This month we're doing a colour challenge from the amazing Design Seeds colour palettes. Perfect colors to get you thinking about spring!

What is the Tiddly Inks Challenge?

New challenges are posted on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog on the first Tuesday of each month at 12AM CST (Central US time). We choose one winner per challenge to receive $10 worth of Tiddly Inks digital images. Whoo hoo!

To participate, create a new project, snap a pic, then link to it on the Challenge's blog post. We love to see any NEW creation (a card, 3D project, journal page, etc.), but YOU MUST USE a Tiddly Inks stamp or image. You can find freebie images HERE!

Challenges must be entered into by 11:55PM on the Sunday evening before the next challenge begins.  The winner is posted with the beginning of each new challenge. I hope you'll come play with us!

I used this adorable Lilly Wryn Digital Stamp by Tiddly Inks. I printed her on Canson Mi Teintes white paper and colored her with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

After coloring her, I added a teeny-tiny dot of Diamond Stickles to the middle of each flower (I'm pretty sure I didn't miss any! LOL 😜) I also sprinkled some sequins randomly across the card which I adhered with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.  And, as always, I added a drop of Nuvo Drops over the top of each one, but instead of using the clear Morning Dew drops like I usually do, I decided to use the Sea Breeze Jewel Nuvo Drops. These drops dry translucent, but with just a hint of color. I think it turned out pretty good!

The sentiment was stamped with black archival ink and comes from the Thank You Flowers stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. I think this is one of the smallest sentiment stamps I have, which was perfect for this card since I didn't want to cover up the adorable Wryn! I also used the Wonky Rectangles die by Simon Says Stamp to add the faux stitching around the edge.

Behind the panel, I mounted a scalloped rectangle cut with the Scallop A2 rectangle die set by Honey Bee Stamps. I think that just this little pop of color really ties the project together nicely. I used Scor-tape to put the coloring onto the scalloped rectangle and my Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive tape runner to then put the entire thing onto an Neenah card stock A2 sized card base.

Well, thank you all so much stopping by my blog and taking a look at what I created. I hope you'll check out the March Tiddly Inks Challenge - if you need help or ideas, then I'm happy to offer my assistance. Feel free to message me on Facebook or Instagram. I love talking cards! Have a good day!
