Sketch Saturday Challenge #546

Welcome to another Sketch Saturday Challenge!

Sketch Saturday Challenge #546

This week's sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and they are offering 4 digis to the winner. To submit your entry, take a picture of your project and link to it on THIS blog post on the Sketch Saturday blog using the InLinkz tool at the bottom of the post.

You have until Friday January 18th at 7pm (United Kingdom time) to enter. For complete details, please read the Challenge Rules on the Sketch Saturday blog. Good luck and have fun creating!

Here is the card that I created:

I used the Sweet Unicorn digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored it with Prismacolor Colored Pencils on Canson Mi-Teintes paper. I then added little details with white and black Gelly Roll pens and Wink of Stella in Glitter Clear.

To make a silver matte for the image, I applied some Deco Foil Transfer Gel to a piece of white card stock cut slightly bigger than the image. After it was completely dry, I then applied a piece of silver foil over top of it and ran it through my Minc machine. And I popped it up from my card using white craft fun foam.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Clouds for Days stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and an Ink Blending tool on a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock. It just barely peaks out from under the image, but I like the little bit of interest it adds. I attached it to my card base using 1/2 inch Scor-tape.

The sentiment comes from the Party Animal stamp set by Lawn Fawn that I stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Black Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder. The strip it sits on is a piece of white card stock that I heavily applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over.

For the last finishing touches, I threaded some baker's twine through a button and applied to the card with Ranger Multi Medium Matte as well as a few little jewels from the Rainbow Sparkle Mix and Ice Cube Mix by Little Things by Lucy's Cards using my Crystal Katana Pick up Tool.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you'll join in on this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge. If you'd like some help or ideas, please feel free to message me on either Facebook or Instagram.  And as always, I appreciate your support. Have a good weekend!
