I colored Wryn with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils on Canson Mi-Teintes paper. I recently found a way that I can print on my paper scraps by actually temporarily adhering the scrap piece to a full size sheet of copy paper. I just have to make sure I've aligned the scrap paper onto the copy paper where the image will be printed. Then, I just run the whole thing through my printer! When it comes to crafting- waste not, want not- so I'm really glad I found this trick to use up every little bit of my scraps.
The Grow A Little Love sentiment I used also is by Tiddly inks and guess what - it's free! Yes, free! I printed it out and adhered it to a scalloped rectangle cut with a Scallop A2 Card frame die by Honey Bee Stamps. I actually cut the sentiment large enough so that it would cover up the faux stitching on the scalloped rectangle since stitching was already incorporated in the oval that I cut with the Inside and Out Stitched Oval die by My Favorite Things.
I popped up the large oval from the background by gluing it to a smaller piece of white craft fun foam. Then, I created the background with a 3D embossing folder from Stampin' Up! Oh and want to know a secret about my bows? I like to add just the smallest line of Ranger Multi Medium Matte along the cut edge of the tails - it dries totally clear and it keeps the ends from fraying! Cool, huh?
Thank you so much for dropping by! So what do you think of today's card? Let me know in the comments below - I love hearing from you! Have a marvelous day!
