For these cards I used Thermoweb Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheets (go to THIS or THIS blog post to see other cards I've created with these sheets). I used them with purple foil Deco Foil Transfer Sheets.
I also used a technique called partial die cutting on these cards. This means I used a die to cut out only part of its design, not the whole thing. I learned this technique from Jennifer McGuire, who is absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend you check her out because she shares so many technique tutorials. Check out THIS video to see her fun fold cards or THIS one for a partial die cut edge card.
I like making these fun fold cards because they add something different than a traditional folded card. They are interactive for the recipient; it's like a little surprise for them!
I created my first video tutorial showing one way you can use foil on your cards, and a tip for getting the most out of each foil sheet. I look forward to making more videos so I can perfect the method and make them look more professional.
