Despite this being an interactive card, this shaker card is actually quite simple and pretty quick to make with the Shaker Add-on die set. You basically take one die from the set and cut it out with acetate and the other die cut out in fun foam. Then, you have all the pieces you need to layer together, and you've got yourself a shaker card!
The hearts were super easy to color with my Arteza Real Brush Pens. To get the pastel look of the iconic conversation hearts, I just applied color to the outside edge and blended inwards with my water brush. After the heart dried, I stamped the little messages in the hearts in red ink to get that classic conversation heart look.
Lawn Fawn's Really Rainbow 6x6 paper pack makes it super simple to find some coordinating papers to make a very whimsical scene. I cut the green paper with a stitched hillside die, then I cut the bottom of that piece with a stitched rectangle die, so now it has faux stitching on all sides. The rainbow paper was just cut with the stitched rectangle die and layered behind the green, slope-y hills with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive Dot Roller.
I filled the chubby little mason jar with the heart cluster I stamped and some jewels from Little Things by Lucy's Card. The "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment I stamped in black ink and went over it with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder, just to add a little shine to it!
It was such a fun card to put together! I know my little cousins will like it! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I post even more projects and pictures on my Instagram, so be sure to check me out there for even more projects. Have a wonderful day!
