Caffeinated Cats card plus FREE download for Arteza Real Brush Pens color chart

Hello you, so glad you stopped by! I hope you like color, because today I'm sharing one of the most colorful cards I've made in awhile. I'm using the Caffeinated Cats stamp set by Newton's Nook designs. I had no problem choosing the colors for the cats because I love cats, so the ideas just came to me easily! The mugs, however, took me a little bit longer to decide, but when in doubt about color choice - do a rainbow!

My amazing lil sis gave me the Arteza 96 Real Brush Pens set for Christmas (yes, I'm just now getting around to using them!) I've been dying to give these a spin to see how they compare with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Verdict is - I like them both! One of the things I like so much about the Arteza pens is the color selection, which contains shades that aren't offered with the Zigs.

Here are the Arteza Real Brush Pens colors I used:

Orange kitties: Orange Rust, Honey, & Pale Skin

Siamese kitties: Chocolate, Ginger, & Pale Skin

Gray kitties: Smoke Gray

Calico kittie: Ash Black, Chocolate, Orange Rust, & Pale Skin

Coffee mugs: Rouge Pink, Bubblegum Pink, Flamingo Pink, Tomato Red, Sunset Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Lime Green, Ocean Blue, Artic Blue, & Thistle Purple

To add some more whismy to the card panel, I used the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangles die and added a small scalloped border behind it. It is cut from a piece of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper with the Honey Bee Stamps Scallop A2 die.  Finally, I added TONS of colorful Nuvo drops for even more rainbow fun!

To give me a real sense of the extent of the color selection with my Arteza Pens, I made my own color chart to swatch all the colors. I always have my color charts handy, because they are so useful for not only matching or coordinating colors, but also inspiring me to use a shade that maybe I haven't used in awhile.

This is also a great organizational tool since it helps me keep track of what colors I own (as long as I keep it updated - which I do!). I think color charts are so helpful, so I'm sharing the one I made for my Arteza markers; I hope you find it as helpful as I do!

NOTE: the chart is uncolored. The idea is to print this chart and color in the boxes yourself with your Arteza markers. If you can print it on paper you usually use, then even better. Then, you're getting a better representation of what the color will look like and how it will behave in one of your projects. Additionally, this is a great way to initially become familiar with your marker colors.
