Watch the card process video below or in full HD on my YouTube channel:
I colored the characters with my Arteza Real Brush Pens. Here are the marker colors I used:
Shirt, bow and shoes: Fuchsia & Thistle Purple (just on the bottom of the shirt)
Jeans: Bright Blue
Skin: Light Skin, Pale Skin, & Fuchsia for cheeks
Blonde hair: Lemon Yellow & Sunset Yellow
Unicorn body: Ice Blue
Mane: Fuchsia, Lemon Yellow, Arctic Blue, & Bright Blue
Hooves: Ash Black & Dolphin Gray
Horn: Thistle Purple
Rainbow and clouds: Fuchsia, Lemon Yellow, Arctic Blue, and Dolphin Gray (for the clouds)
I used both the positive and negative piece of the Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil to create this card. I use a mini Minc machine to do all my foiling, but you can use a laminator too!
I almost always heat emboss my sentiments. This one is from the Koko Unicorn stamp set. I heat embossed it with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder on black card stock, and cut it down into a small sentiment strip. It is attached to the card with foam tape to pop it up from the card base.
The Wonky Plaid stencil I used turned out really cool with the transfer gel and foil. But there are so many different ways to use stencils - ink, glitter paste, dry embossing (Yes! You can do that with a stencil!), and much more. Just writing about it gives me so many more card ideas!
Thank you so much for stopping by today's blog post! I'd love for you to leave a comment because I love hearing from you! The Erin Lee Creative shop has many more Koko girl stamp sets that are just as adorable as this one, so be sure to check it out! I hope you have a great day! Bye!
