Holy Cow! featuring stamps and dies by Erin Lee Creative

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a really fun card that features the Holy Cow stamp set and Woodland die set by Erin Lee Creative. There is so much going on in this card - which I love - but, the main thing I wanted to showcase was the use of stand-alone die cuts as silhouette images against a colorful background.

You can watch the card process video below or in full HD on my YouTube channel:

I used Copic markers to color in the images. Here are the Copic marker colors I used:

Sunflowers: Y 18, Y 15, Y 13, & Y 00
Leaves: G 99 & G 94
Centers: E 18, E 15, E 13, E 11, & E00
Cow: E 18, E 15, E 13, E 11, E00, & E0000
Horns: E 81 & YR 30
Pink flowers: R 24, R 22, & R 20

I decided a tone-on-tone sentiment would look best for this card. I stamped in Versamark clear embossing ink then heat embossed Hero Arts clear embossing powder over the top.

I love repeated background stamping! It's a technique I always go back to because I think it's just so versatile.

And that's the card folks! Thanks for stopping by the blog - leave a comment if you have the time because I love hearing from you! And there are many more exceptionally fun and imaginative stamp sets by Erin Lee Creative (especially in the new March Release!), so definitely go check out her shop!  Have a great day, and I can't wait to share my next card with you!
