Super cute Lawn Fawn character card - Part 1

One of the things that I'm attracted to the most when making cards is using cute little characters and Lawn Fawn, one of my favorite stamp companies, has some of the cutest little characters!

For this card, I used the fox and bear from the Party Animal stamp set and added the mug and pie from the Holiday Party Animal stamp set. I colored them with Copic markers and added a few details with gel pens and little dots of Ebony Black Nuvo drops for the eyes and nose.

For the background, I layered a strip of Lawn Fawn's jack-o'-lantern line dance patterned paper over a piece of Neenah Desert Storm card stock that I repeatedly stamped with leaves from an old Papertrey ink Falling Leaves stamp set. I used the ink color Crumb Cake from Stampin' up for a soft tone-on-tone effect. Lastly, I ran it through my Tim Holtz Vagabond 2 machine with the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangles die set.

I created a little scene for my cute little characters by blending Tim Holtz distress ink onto a stitched circle from the Stampin' up Stitched Shapes die set. I used the colors Brushed Corduroy, Fossilized Amber, and Squeezed Lemonade to create ground and a dusky sky. I incorporated the leaves from the background into the scene by stamping a few in Real Red, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' up ink to look like they were falling from the naked tree stamped in Chocolate Chip Stampin up ink (retired) and die cut from Lawn Fawn's exclusive Nutty or Nice stamp set for Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember event.

I added some ribbon tied in a bow (from Stampin' up in Chocolate chip - retired) and a Happy Birthday sentiment also stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and then embossed with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder to add a glossy effect to it.

I absolutely adore this card and had a lot of fun making it. I have a friend whose birthday is in early November, and I think this card will be perfect for her.
